Can There Be Love Again?

We cried
We doubted ourselves
We did not know what to do.
We loved each other much.
We stood in the dark many days.
But we had hope still.
To maybe once again be together.
Share that love
Kiss
And to hold each other tenderly.
So we kept in touch
And remember that first kiss.
To maybe love once again.
To show the world who we were
So the rainbow would be there again.
To hope there would be Love Again.

You've taken those words from my heart in my long silence.
The moment when I reminisce those days welled down my tears.
Never I lost hope in my heart to have you once again.
I continue to dream even we have doubted our love.
We cried in the dark after we broke each other's hearts.
Yet I can never forget the time we've shared together. 
Dreaming it will happen again in another time, another year. 
The smile on your face is still so fresh in my mind.
Your sweetness, once I remember,  paint my face a smile.
I smell your scent being carried by the breeze in so many miles.
I wish the rainbow to appear once more after the rain. 
And you'll come in surprise to ask me, can there be Love again?

  SUBSTANCE OF LOVE On the misty eve of Christmas (2020), I smelled the excellent year of 2021, the year of prosperity. The year to get back to normal as everyone hopes, the year of greatness and power, implies all the experiences we had in 2020, full of challenges. The pandemic gives many twists to our life. Many failed on some plans because of the travel restrictions. Yet,  we can say we need to wait for God's perfect time. Just trust in Him. The pandemic protocols of various places make us dizzy, yet we have learned a lot to deal with it. I looked at it with a grain of salt. It's futile to complain about things aimed at the betterment of all.  When I am alone, I can't stop myself from pondering things that pop up in my mind.  It was not about the pandemic and the lockdown we experienced that prevented us from having business-related inter-island trips.    I was sitting in a little corner of my room, listening to the acoustic tune of my heart and trying to scribble its me

WHEN THE RIGHT TIME WILL BE?

When the right time will be? My pen cries to utter what my heart silently murmurs. Would it cover what my thoughts wished to speak for? Would there be an ending to this abyss of distress  that somehow would change to unity and happiness? Would be the writer's inks have enough power  to transform the dusk into love and light vastness? Nothing impossible...that's the believers are standing for Would the little ink left in our pens show its own essence? Would be the calling of our passion be also a part of uniting nations? Can we speak out not to bash but access to peace? Why can't we pray for every race, culture, and belief? That we aren't here to fight and towards each principle, we do have respect That whenever we talk softly and not harshly, we can mellow down hatreds That it is futile to use our fingers to point out others faults or mistakes Why are we so inclined to side with whom we stand for?
